Eleanor is just the best. From the beginning she put us at ease and we felt extremely comfortable around her. She is very knowledgeable and shared key information that helped us in pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. During labor, she anticipated situations before they happened and helped me and my husband prepare to make decisions before we felt pressured for time. She helped us consider all the facts around various scenarios and make decisions that we still feel confident about. When labor got difficult, she read my body language and knew just what to say and do without me having to verbalize anything. This allowed me to focus and relax through the contractions while feeling supported the entire time. She also helped my husband know how to help, encourage, and be a part of the process. We are so thankful Eleanor was a part of our daughter’s birth journey!

Eleanor is naturally gifted at what she does.  During labor she immediately got into a rhythm with me and prevented my pain from sending me into a panic.  Her voice was soothing, brought me back from labor land, and grounded me.  She is confident and strong and the type of person you want at your side to navigate any type of birth.  I felt like she could handle anything.  Because I had such a strong support team during my labor I bounced back physically and emotionally very quickly.  It wasn't the easiest birth so having Eleanor with me prevented any part of it from traumatizing me.  I have such joyful memories of my birth because of her.
