I've been passionate about birth since taking a Psychology class on "Laboring Women" in college. After college, I continued to work with children and took my certification to become a Doula. I look forward to bringing a sense of encouragement and patients to your future birthing experience.

Madeline far exceeded our expectations! She is knowledgeable and professional while still being lighthearted and warm. I was extremely nervous for my first delivery and wanted someone with experience who could guide me through the process and also be an advocate for me in the hospital as I wanted a more natural and unmedicated birth experience. Throughout the process she was extremely attentive, always somehow knew what I needed to hear when I was having a mental or emotional struggle, and she made my husband feel included. In the hospital during my very long labor she was like the energizer bunny, helping me and supporting me through big decisions while not forgetting the small details of ensuring I was comfortable and hydrated. She worked well with the hospital staff as well, who only had great things to say about her. Post labor she continues to check in on us and offers additional services which are so helpful for new parents. Hiring Madeline was the best decision. Throughout our journey we had some unexpected challenges and I genuinely couldn't imagine going through the process without her.

Madeline was extremely flexible, friendly, reliable, and attentive to our birth preferences and concerns. Her initial visit was wonderful and informative. She is incredibly easy to talk to and she put my husband and I at such ease as first time parents. I ended up having a c-section and using her as our postpartum doula / night nurse for the first few weeks. She was truly invaluable and we immediately felt comfortable having her with our newborn overnight. We will definitely be keeping in touch and using her skills and services more in the future.
