My doula was truly an incredible support throughout my time to deliver. She brought a level of knowledge and calmness that immediately put my mind at ease. Knowing she was there to help watch over my son and advocate for his safety gave me a sense of comfort I didn’t even realize I needed. She was attentive to every detail of my birth plan and worked hard to make sure my wishes were respected and carried out as closely as possible. I had a C-section instead of a vaginal birth, and her support was never wavered. She remained present, reassuring, and fully engaged, making sure I still felt seen, heard, and cared for during the entire process. Her compassion and dedication made such a difference, and I’m beyond grateful to have had her by my side.
